GARZO LIQUID LEVEL CONTROLLER MODEL 101B
 The regulators are designed to be compatible with various oil supply sources from atmospheric tanks to low pressure header systems. The Model 101B was specifically designed for use on smaller engines and compressors.
The Model 101B can be equipped with an optional low oil level safety switch. The switch operates with a loss of the normal oil level of approximately one-half inch. The switch is submerged in oil, suppressing any danger of arcing. The switch can be used to ground a magneto or can be used with electrical tattletales.
The Model 101B is equipped with a built in oil filter. The filter is designed to remove sediment from the oil stream which might clog the float valve. The filter is easily accessible and does not require disconnecting the supply piping to service the filter. |

A tempered glass oil level sight gauge is provided to allow the actual oil level to be seen on those units where an oil level sight glass is not provided. The center of the gauge glass is adjusted to the oil level elevation which is desired to be maintained. |

A vent connection is provided to equalize the pressure in the regulator to engine crankcase pressure. Most engines today have either a negative or positive pressure in the crankcase. These engines require an equalizing connection from the engine crankcase to the vent connection. The vent line should be 3/8 " ID tubing minimum and should be located such that it is self-draining to eliminate an oil trap.
The regulator can be completely serviced
without disconnecting the regulator supply or draining the engine crankcase. The regu-lator
cover can be removed, lifting the complete float valve and float from the reg-ulator
body. There need be no down time for any regulator maintenance. |
The regulator is made from 100%
aluminum castings which resist galvanic corrosion and eliminates the need for paint-ing,
making the regulator suitable for offshore and gas compressor installation.
Installation kits are available, consisting of 6' of
5/8 " ID hose, (4) 1/2 " NPT to 5/8 " hose inserts and hose clamps. Supply tanks, stands
or mounting brackets are available in 15, 30, and 55 gallon sizes, complete with 2" filler
connection, vent, calibrated sight gauge, and
1/2 " NPT shut off valve. The standard tank stand is 36" high. Other heights are available.
The mounting bracket can support the tank from structural members, walls or other locations
